I have always believed that the main tenet of Jesus's preaching was incorporated in the Beatitudes. As we just concluded the recent election and the christian right and evangelicals claim to have been a major factor in electing a person that has not acted like someone who has heard of the Sermon on the Mount. I am dismayed by the support that these groups gave Trump and I think that he and they should be accountable for the lack of following Christ's teaching.

This blog will try to keep a scorecard of actions of the new president and how they follow the Beatitudes. There is great fear in our country that the poor, the meek and others will be abused and that is not what Christ taught.

I have a few months to further develop this blog and can use help. If anyone sees or hears of a presidential abuse of Christ's teaching please let me know. This is a work in progress but one I thionk needs to be done.
